The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum opens its garden on Friday nights from 6:00–9:00PM to the public for a night of live spinning and dancing.

The opening event starts on 6 July with its head curator, Jeannie Hopper. This series will run every Friday until 7 September 2007 rain or shine. Free with museum admission: adult $12; student and senior $7.

This would also be an excellent time to check out Design Life Now: National Design Triennial 2006 before it closes at the end of the month, 29 July.
