The Architectural League of New York hosts a design charrette for designers of all disciplines with less than five years of post-school experience. The session is to address a problem related to the current construction boom throughout New York City’s five boroughs. Participants (individuals or teams up to three) will be given a brief at 3:00PM and two hours to address the problems therein. Following will be a critique and discussion with participants and a four-person jury:

Andrew Blum, Contributing Editor, Metropolis & Wired magazines

Lauren Crahan, Partner at Freecell

Alex Washburn, Director of Urban Design, Department of City Planning
