IDEO Selects, another permanent collection show at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, promises to be a highlight of the summer. A multitude of design objects from almost all disciplines are on display: Henry Dreyfuss’ Mock-up for International Dictionary of Symbols; Mario Bellini’s Divisumma 18 electronic printing calculator; and, of course, Herbert Bayer’s World Geographic Atlas. The thesis behind the show revolves around design thinking and the designers’ process in creating solutions to problems.

A must-see exhibition for the summer.
