JEFFREY KEYTON, MTV
For over 24 years, Jeffrey Keyton, Senior Vice President for On-Air Design and Off-Air Creative, MTV & MTV2, has been a pioneering visionary force at the network. Innovative, demanding and always surprising, he’s been instrumental in helping define MTV’s unparalleled and unprecedented visual personality by constantly heading into territory unknown. Jeffrey and his team have created award-winning design work that has made MTV one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Among his proudest accolades, Jeffrey is a recipient of the Hershel Levit Lifetime Achievement Award from Pratt Institute, his Alma Mater.
SANDRA MONTEPARO, Victoria’s Secret Beauty
Sandra is an award winning creative director with more than 20 years experience in the design industry. In her current role as Vice President of Creative for Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Sandra is the driving force behind the design of all Victoria’s Secret Beauty packaging: fragrance, body care, cosmetics, seasonal gifting and more. Under Sandra’s creative vision, Victoria’s Secret Beauty produces over 600 new products annually and is on pace to exceed 1 billion dollars in sales in 2012. Sandra’s design career has spanned multiple industries, including music, print and publishing. Her most recent achievement is the receipt of the prestigious FIFI award for fragrance packaging of the year, 2011.
STEVE RURA, Google Creative Labs
Steve started his career as a graphic designer and art director in 2002, and has since produced a wide variety of motion, interactive, and print work for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Puma, Canon, and FedEx. He joined Google Creative Lab a little over a year ago, where he now helps direct the visual and conceptual direction of major projects such as Google+, Google Chrome, and other yet-to-be-released technologies. His active project list is always diverse, ranging from branding to UI design to advertising, and must constantly adapt to the ever-changing, fast-paced world of global technology.
DEBBIE MILLMAN, Sterling Brands
Debbie has worked in the design business for over 25 years and is President of the design division at Sterling Brands. She has been there for nearly two decades and in that time she has worked on the redesign of over 300 global brands. Debbie is President Emeritus of AIGA, a contributing editor at Print Magazine, Chair of the world’s first Masters in Branding program at the School of Visual Arts, and host of the award-winning podcast Design Matters with Debbie Millman. She is the author of several books including the recent Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits (Allworth Press). Her significant other has accused her of trying to turn everything into a Broadway musical.
