BREAKFAST CLUB: THE PERFECT PITCH

Creating just the right content for a new business pitch is a delicate business and knowing how to entice without giving it all away can be an art in and of itself. Join Simon Lince, Chief Creative Officer of Sterling Brands, while he leads a discussion on crafting the perfect pitch that wins clients and opens doors. Topics to explore include creating the right content, how much is too much, structure of the presentation, customization for different clients, floods, feces, phony accents and turning it around when things go horribly wrong!

Simon Lince is the Chief Creative Officer at Sterling Brands, a leading branding consultancy formed in 1992. Sterling Brands is headquartered in New York with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Cincinnati. Their clients include many of the world’s most respected organizations including Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Bayer, Disney, Hershey and Pepsico. Simon has over 27 years experience in all aspects of brand design from identity to packaging. He studied in England at Great Yarmouth College of Art and Design. Prior to joining Sterling Brands, Simon was a Creative Director at Michael Peters Ltd. in London and has also headed-up design teams in Dusseldorf and Toronto.

AIGA/NY’s Casual Morning Get-Together for the Sharing of Knowledge and the Drinking of Coffee.

Each Breakfast Club explores a specific topic of focus and is introduced by a discussion leader. Our conversations cover the range of creative, financial and pragmatic challenges that designers too often face alone—challenges that can often be overcome with open, casual dialogue. Baked goods and coffee are provided.
