BREAKFAST CLUB: HOW TO TEACH

You’re teaching a design class—or, thinking about it for the future! Your students might be eager, open-minded, thoughtful—and, simultaneously—late, texting in class, and expert grade-negotiators. Join Rebecca Leece, teacher trainer at City University of New York, to learn how to structure and manage your class so you maximize student learning and minimize teacher headaches.

Rebecca Leece taught full-time at the City University of New York for six years before becoming a Professional Development Coordinator for CUNY Language and Literacy Programs. She also works on educational programs at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, and is a judge for the New York Times ESOL Teacher of the Year Award.
