1/ AIGA 365: Annual Design Exhibition

See the best in communication design from 2009—including logos, websites, animations, experiences, packaging and advertisements created by some of the world’s most talented designers.

2/ Ji Lee Revolving and Evolving: Typographic experiments of a cultural orphan

A 3-D alphabet as a mind-bending puzzle. A typeface designed for reading and writing in four directions. An alphabet mash-up between the Roman Alphabet and Korean Hangul, Google logo transformed as circles. Ji Lee shares his experience of growing up in different cultures, the challenges of communicating in several languages, and how this has shaped his interest in communication and playing with type and alternate alphabets.

3/ An Evening with Art & Copy, and George Lois

View a screening of the acclaimed documentary film, Art & Copy followed by a Q&A with legendary and prolific advertising communicator of our time, George Lois.

4/ ADC Young Guns 8 Exhibition and Opening Party

5/ Appetite: A Reciprocal Relationship between Food & Design Exhibition

From restaurants and supermarket aisles to the corner store, there is an inherent relationship between graphic design and food. Design has the power to alter our experience and influence our perception of food. “Appetite” explores the role and influence of design in the food industry. Featured work by AvroKO, Matteo Bologna, Louise Fili, Derick Holt, Debbie Millman, and Douglas Riccardi.
