1/ Breakfast Club: Getting Established

Just about every designer thinks about going out on their own. Join Sam O’Donahue, Creative Director and Owner of Established, to talk about the creative and legal concerns of starting up a studio, how to win business and keep clients coming back for more.

2/ New York Types

When it comes to people, New York has all different types. The city’s leading letterpress artists are collaborating to create this one of a kind collection of real sentences and conversations from the New York streets, re-created letter by letter. Editions are limited to 10 of each piece. Art will be sold the night of the show.

When: Opening Reception Thursday, December 15, 2011, 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm; Exhibition through January 5, 2012

3/ Edward Tufte

Edward Tufte will conduct an open forum answering questions about analytical design, art, the creative process, and public service.
