1/ Christo and Jeanne-Claude

Christo will present two works in progress: Over the River, Project for the Arkansas River, Colorado, 5.9 miles of fabric panels over a forty mile stretch in the Arkansas River in Colorado; and The Mastaba, Project for the United Arab Emirates, 410,000 horizontally stacked, multi-colored oil barrels, forming an oblong trapezoidal monument.

7/ Jessica Hische: Drop Caps and LOL Cats

Jessica Hische, letterer, illustrator, and founder of Daily Drop Cap will discuss the differences between the industries of design, illustration, lettering, and type design, how to break into lettering and illustration, and how “showing your humanity to the internet” can have a massive impact on the design and type industry.
