1/ TDC Walking Tour

Join Paul Shaw, a widely known and respected guide to urban lettering, to see what lettering jewels (and junk) the West Village has to offer.

2/ One Day for Design

Join One Day for Design for a 24-hour live, real-time online conversation about the future of the design industry and what designers feel a professional association should be in the next decade. Moderators, including Alex Bogusky, Bill Drenttel, Debbie Millman, Erik Spiekermann, Armin Vit, Alissa Walker and more, will host exchanges on Twitter throughout the day, which will all be aggregated at onedayfordesign.org where viewers can also post comments.

Bill Armstrong, a New York based fine art photographer will talk about his abstract color work that spans over 30 years.

4/ Collaboration: Target’s New Target

Target, above other mass retailers, is committed to excellence in creativity and design. Target’s Creative Vision Group Creative Director, Tim Murray, will discuss the nuances of collaboration: the thrill of invention—and the agony of defeat. Panelists include Mary Ellen Muckerman from Wolff Olins, Michael Ian Kaye from Mother, and Joe Stewart from Huge.
