3/ Any Chump Can Buy a Mac and a Tablesaw
Spend an evening with Jeffrey Hatfield and Peter Brown, of The Guild, a design+build collective, as they share how it all started and the road they built for themselves. Learn what it means to work in a collaborative environment, the joys and challenges of bringing together so many varied talents and what they’re building for the future.

4/ Ghostly International: Of Art and Artifice
Ghostly International Editions, a collective of some of North America’s best designers and artists. Of Art and Artifice is a comprehensive state of the union, a peek into what’s next after 13 years of creativity from Ghostly International, creating an essential selection of work from the Ghostly family into a never-before-seen collection.

5/ Air Force Art Program: Illustrating on a Mission
A panel discussion will be led by Victor Juhasz, along with illustrators Jeff Fisher, Stephen Gardner, Melanie Reim, Joel Iskowitz and John Witt and will focus on the challenges of capturing action in real time and how these reportage artists adapt to their circumstances.

7/ Josef Albers: At Home and At Work
Nicholas Fox Weber, who knew and worked with Josef Albers in the last years of the artist’s life, will speak about how Albers worked and provide a personal glimpse into the life of the passionate, funny, original, crusty, and ferociously independent man who changed the way people look at color. This lecture coincides with the exhibition Josef Albers in America: Painting on Paper.

8/ Russia Rising: Votes for Freedom
