1/ What’s Your Story? Corona Plaza Welcoming Stories
Queens Museum of Art and First Person American presents a community screening event featuring 9 short films that explore personal narratives from immigrants about the people who welcomed them and changed their lives forever. Audience is invited to bring a dish to share for a potluck Welcoming Dinner for a screening of 9 Welcoming Stories. Afterwards, there will be a chance for attendees to record their own Welcoming Story and get resources on how to become more welcoming.
