1/ Interactive Art
The Queens Museum needs an app and want participants to design it! Learn about interaction, how to plan and create interactive projects, prototypes and other themes. Starting from a general perspective, design the future mobile app for the Queens Museum, and develop the skills and tools necessary to develop your own projects and ideas. The class will end with a presentation of the proposals developed.

2/ Design + Hardware
Jussi Ängeslevä will discuss the challenges, lessons, and recent developments in the field of designing light-based mechatronics through a series of case studies from ART+COM, a pioneer design studio in interactive, reactive, and autoactive objects, installations, environments and architectures.

4/ An Exhibition in the Cloud
Prototyping: An Exhibition in the Cloud, is an interdisciplinary collaborative project between the Parsons School of Art, Media and Technology (AMT) and the Media Arts department from University of the Arts in Berlin. The show is conceived in a way that transcends boundaries, borders, and customs and is meant to be a prototype itself, one that can be copied, reproduced on-demand anywhere in the world.

5/ Writing Salon with the Writhing Society
In connection with the exhibition Jean-Michel Othoniel: My Way, Tom LaFarge and Wendy Walker of the Brooklyn-based Writhing Society lead a workshop based on the French literary movement Oulipo. Using constrained writing techniques and visual-verbal composition, participants will construct texts both individually and collaboratively. No prior experience is necessary, only a delight in language and a willingness to play.
