2/ The Reactors

3/ Going Solo: The Rise and Appeal of Living Alone
More than 30% of the world’s population lives alone, and that percentage is growing daily. How is this profound demographic shift transforming the economic and cultural life of cities around the globe? Join NYU sociologist Eric Klinenberg, the author of Going Solo: The Extraordinary Rise and Surprising Appeal of Living Alone, and Jerilyn Perine, Director of the Citizens Housing and Planning Council, for a discussion about the rise of single adults in New York, Paris, Tokyo, and other world metropolises – and its implications for urban life as (we think) we know it today.

5/ What Lies Beyond: A Panel Discussion on Science Fiction and Fantasy Illustration
Science fiction and fantasy illustration have been thriving for as long as art has existed. A stroll through any major museum features depictions of gods and demons, dreams and nightmares, and speculations on what lies beyond our boundaries from ancient cultures to today with Donata Giancola, Rebecca Guay, Greg Manchess, Sam Weber, Michael Whelan, and moderated by Irene Gallo. Each artist will discuss their careers, the industry today, and where they see science fiction and fantasy illustration heading.
