1/ Japanese Art for Artists: Three-Part Painting Workshop Series with Megumi Nagai
Three-part introductory series offers an opportunity for artists with an established painting practice to learn how to incorporate Japanese iconography and experiment with a combination of Japanese and Western painting styles. Led by artist Megumi Nagai.

3/ Fame Fortune Fun Freedom: Why We Design
The secret to a lasting partnership? A balance of trust, mirrored ambitions, and a healthy “dialog” between two diametrically opposed personalities. It’s not always easy, but it works. For the past 35 years, Ken Carbone and Leslie Smolan have joined forces as the Carbone Smolan Agency, creating beautiful and smart design for their world class clientele. 4/ The Fabulous World of Jules Verne
Film screening of The Fabulous World of Jules Verne, 1958. Czechoslovakia. Written and directed by Karel Zeman. Based on The Deadly Invention by Jules Verne. Shot in a process called “Mystimation” that incorporates both live action and animation, Zeman’s work evokes Georges Méliès and anticipates the Quay Brothers. English dubbed. 82 min.

5/ Escaping Hell: Jon Contino
Jon Contino has a journey to show you. One that starts as just some punk kid scribbling art on the back of notebooks, jackets or any flat surface he could find…to the work he didn’t want to tell friends he was working on, to design work for prominent companies such as Keebler and Dockers. Through his good experiences (and some bad ones) Jon will provide insight on what it took to get where he is now and how you can do it too.
