The theme of Compostmodern 2013 is RESILIENCE: creating systems that embrace change, rather than resisting the future. Compostmodern will bring together over 800 professional designers, artists, architects, urban planners, futurists and social entrepreneurs to talk about the role of design in creating a more resilient world. Speakers include Ezio Manzini, the Italian design strategist and sustainable design expert, John Thackara, the provocative writer and thinker and founder of The Doors of Perception, AdamWerbach of Saatchi and Saatchi S and Yerdle, and filmmaker and technologist Tiffany Shlain.
