Citysol 2007 is underway and lasts through the weekend (July 15). New to Citysol? It’s an annual festival organized by Solar One to drive interest in local sustainable initiatives.

Citysol sells it pretty well themselves:

at once a celebration of our potential as New Yorkers to redefine our expectations of quality of life, and a tribute to the creative community’s central role in revealing that potential. It is also, of course, an opportunity to have an enormous amount of fun.

Saturday’s concerts at the clean-powered stage look especially promising. Join the celebration/education where 23rd Street meets the East River.

On a loosely related note: did you know that AIGA National installed a green roof? ‘Tis true! Find out more at AIGA Center for Sustainable Design.
