What a fall—from smaller events like the intimate (and extremely popular!) Breakfast Club series, to big ones such as the boisterous Dinner Party, the AIGA/NY Fall Season provided fantastic opportunities to engage, learn, and be entertained. Recently, here at DESIGNY, we’ve been remiss in covering those great events. Lucky for us, though, others have been more attentive in their posting!

Herewith, a sampling of such coverage of our last big-room event, The Dinner Party: A Conversation About Food and Design:

Blogger Perez Fox covered The Dinner Party for Media Bistro’s Unbeige design blog. In addition to answering his own questions about what food has to do with design (“everything”), Fox reveals one of pastry chef Will Goldfarb’s, umm, highly technical schematic dessert drawings! [Unbeige]

New York‘s Grub Street attended, and was similarly drawn to Goldfarb’s design contributions (“That’s a typeface I created with a pen.”) [Grub Street]

With a tidy rundown on the event, as well as a little color commentary on the presentation styles of Matteo Bologna and Dan Barber, Eat Me Daily filed this report. [Eat Me Daily]

With that, we wish you a happy New Year and look forward to seeing you during the upcoming AIGA/NY 2009 season.
