2/ Because I Say So: The Dangerous Appeal of Moral Authority, book talk by Nikki Stern
If author Nikki Stern found it hard to be known as a 9/11 widow after her husband’s death, she was also perturbed by the idea that survivors of tragedies like her were sometimes seen as “moral authorities.”

3/ Modern Life: Edward Hopper and His Time
The exhibition highlights the work of Edward Hopper, whose use of the subject matter of modern life to portray universal human experiences made him America’s most iconic realist painter of the 20th century.
