1/ Starlee Kine, How to Capture the Culture Zeitgeist: What Phil Collins and Zombies Have in Common
Starlee Kine will discuss how she converts her personal obsessions, of both the negative and positive variety, into universal themes—and how it’s impossible not to read the comments. She will also explain her process of getting orphaned ideas out of her head.

2/ Film Screening: The Story of Lover’s Rock
The Story of Lover’s Rock documents the rise of romantic reggae, and its influence on UK culture in the late 1970s and early 80s, through a combination of live performances, interviews, and comedy sketches.

3/ Stone and Art in Nature and Edward Tufte’s Open Forum
Stone artist Dan Snow will give a talk, Stone and Art in Nature, followed at by Edward Tufte’s open forum about data science, art, the creative process, and public service.
