1/ Blackwing Launch Party
In the hands of giants like Chuck Jones, Stephen Sondheim, John Steinbeck and Duke Ellington, Blackwing pencils have helped create more timeless works of art than any single paint brush, fountain pen or laser printer in modern history.

2/ Linotype: The Film
Linotype: The Film is a feature-length documentary centered around the Linotype type casting machine. Called the Eighth Wonder of the World by Thomas Edison, it revolutionized printing and society. The film tells the surprisingly emotional story of the people connected to the Linotype and how it impacted the world.
When: Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

3/ Post Illustration
How has the contemporary illustrator – who is now part artist, part designer, part art director, part storyteller, part entrepreneur – managed to remain living not in the present of illustration but in the future of post-illustration, and to consistently pull that future into the present?
